Michala Roubalová

Michaela studied flute at the Prague Conservatory under prof. J. Ostrý and baroque flauto traverso with J. Semeradová at the Týn school - Collegium Marianum (Charles University). She has recently completed further studies in recorder, under the supervision of J. Kydliček and J. Braná at the Prague Conservatory.

Michaela has also taken part in numerous international courses in early music, including the Académie de Sablé, Early Music Summer Schools in Valtice and Prachatice (J. Braná, K. de Witt, P. Zejfart, J. Gundersen, C. Marti), the Atelier für Alte Musik in Aflenz, Austria ( L. Brunmayr-Tutz) and Early Music Days Sopron, Hungary (B. Kuijken).

Micheala is a member of Ensemble Fiorello and a guest member of several other early music ensembles, and enjoys a busy schedule of teaching and performance. She plays on copies of historical instruments of the 18th century (C. A. Grenser, T. Stanesby, J. Denner).
